Branding
For me, branding is not just about designing logos, choosing colors, or creating business cards. It’s about crafting a brand’s online presence through its website, ensuring it reflects the client’s identity and vision. My focus is on deeply understanding the client and shaping a cohesive corporate presence that goes beyond visuals—one that defines how the brand is perceived and interacts in the digital space.

The name Efil comes from the Turkish expression meaning "a gentle breeze," inspired by Çanakkale’s naturally windy landscape. The guesthouse, with its sunny and breezy atmosphere, reflects an organic way of living, centered around homegrown olives.
To capture this essence, the logo incorporates olive leaves and olives as key elements. A floating olive leaf was used to symbolize the movement of the wind. To enhance the organic feel, a custom typographic design was created using a textured brush, ensuring a natural and authentic identity.

For this artist, we decided to use a raven as a symbol rather than a logo, as it is a recurring image in the artist's work and also featured in his personal portrait. The raven, representing both mystery and depth, serves as a powerful visual element for use across the website and other promotional materials, effectively embodying the essence of the artist's aesthetic and thematic focus.

Hakan Daloğlu is a prominent artist whose work is heavily influenced by the fantastical worlds of Brueghel, Fussli, Goya, and German Expressionism. His pieces explore the theme of Tempus Fugit (time flies) in a Gothic and Dark Romantic style, often incorporating motifs such as skeletons, which evoke Latin phrases like Carpe Diem and Memento Mori, reminding us of the transience of life and the inevitability of death. His work also references the Baroque Dance of Death (danse macabre) and vanitas themes, symbolizing the futility of life. Daloğlu combines Gothic traditions with socio-political reflections, using symbols like bulls and minotaurs to bridge ancient cultural references with modern existential inquiries.

Onat Ceramic is a ceramic workshop with over 30 years of experience, specializing in handmade pieces for wholesale and gift sales. However, the brand had yet to establish a strong presence in the online market. To bridge this gap, a comprehensive digital transformation was undertaken.
Each product was carefully photographed, named, and categorized, with new collections introduced to enhance the brand’s structure. Additionally, to support the brand’s visibility at fairs and exhibitions, catalogs, brochures, and posters were designed. This process not only modernized Onat Ceramic’s reach but also preserved its artisanal heritage while making it accessible to a wider audience.

Instead of a traditional logo, Amor Fati was given a distinctive symbol to enhance brand recognition while allowing for greater design flexibility.
Web
Amor Fati is a website designed for an astrologer and writer, serving as a platform to attract clients and guide them on how to navigate their inner journey through astrological analysis.
My client had a strong personal vision for both the aesthetics and content. They wanted the design to emphasize stars and the sky, symbolizing astrology, while incorporating a futuristic and high-end feel that still retained a spiritual essence.
The biggest challenge was balancing these elements—avoiding a cold, space-station-like aesthetic while steering clear of overly decorative, cliché astrology visuals. The final design achieved a refined and sophisticated look, seamlessly delivering the intended message with elegance and depth.
